Approach; Only the best in terms of fire safety
Extinguishing is a specialist task in the (petro)chemicals sector. The use of water is almost always ruled out because combining it with chemicals often merely increases the risk. A risk inventory with the client revealed that extinguishing powder suitable for fire classes A, B and C would provide the best solution.
Result; 12 kg powder extinguishers
Saval's 12 kg cartridge PG12 powder extinguisher emerged from SABIC's tests as the best of 3 brands and was included in the package of delivery. In addition, we maintain approximately 1500 extinguishers, 250 hose reels, 50 wheeled fire extinguishers and a large number of decontamination devices for SABIC.
