Extinguishing blanket
Extinguishing blankets are the most simple extinguishing agent, suitable for extinguishing incipient fires in homes, kitchens or workshops. In addition, fire blankets are eminently suitable for extinguishing burning clothing and the like. With an extinguishing blanket you immediately eliminate the heat of the flames, which prevents serious burns.
Extinguishing blankets are absolutely unsafe for oil and grease fires. For those types of fires you need a special grease fire extinguisher.
Fire blankets must be replaced after technical and hygienic considerations after use. An annual check is needed to see if the fire blanket is still clean and undamaged. The Saval extinguishing blankets have a control seal that is broken when the extinguishing blanket is pulled out of the wall cassette.
