Safety signaling is performed in four different colors. These colors allow you to see at a glance what kind of notification an icon gives.

• Red stands for 'fire extinguishers', but round signs with a red border indicate a restriction.
• Green stands for 'rescue', such as escape routes and, for example, emergency showers.
• Blue indicates 'preventive measures'. Think of safety glasses mandatory.
• Yellow warns of 'danger'., such as high voltage.
