When it is not possible to secure an object from above by means of foaming/cooling, the F3 Nozzle can be a solution.

The F3 foam sprayer is a directional sprayer that can be used for both cooling and foaming a protected installation/object. Because the sprayer has a relatively large throw distance, it does not need to be positioned above the object to be protected. Furthermore, the sprayer has a well-developed spray pattern, allowing for efficient cooling.

Applications

Multiple fire scenarios are considered to protect objects such as tanker truck loading stations.

• These installations are used to load or unload (flammable) liquids, where there is a risk of leakage.
• These installations are usually located near storage tanks and pumping stations for these liquids, where there is a risk of fire.

If a fire occurs in the vicinity of the loading station, an effective cooling system is required to cool the tankers.

If a fire occurs in the loading station itself, the liquid fire must be extinguished with foam.

The F3 Nozzle is an effective solution for both situations.
