Fire is an assault on people, planet and profit. By preventing fire, extinguishing fire and controlling fire, we avoid damage to people, the environment and your business operations. We also want our business operations to reflect our social responsibility.
Saval has always devoted a lot of energy and attention to its social responsibility in relation to fire safety. To this end, we participate in various platforms such as Eurofeu, Vebon, the Standards Committee, etc. Saval also promotes socially responsibility in other areas. A few examples:
Saval is at the forefront of the development of a completely fluorine-free fire protection. In collaboration with TNO, we have developed a foam for portable fire extinguishers, without harmful PFAS. This without making concessions to the extinguishing capacity, on both solids and liquids.
Saval is a signatory to various covenants to achieve reductions in packaging, energy, etc. Saval also provides environmentally-responsible acceptance and recycling at the end of the product cycle (powders, batteries, paper/card, etc.).
We take our social responsibility seriously and emphasise this by getting certified for the CO2 Performance Ladder. In order to maintain the level 3 certificate, broad insight is necessary to take advantage of opportunities for the reduction of raw materials and energy required to realize our products and services.
Saval provides long-term for sponsorship for children's burns charities in the Netherlands and Belgium.
